*** Draw an OR Gate using two diodes explain its operation write the truth table.

Ans :-

OR Gate :- It has two input terminals and one out put terminal.

Symbol :-

*** If two input are low out put is low.
*** One of input is high out put high.
*** If two inputs are high output high.

* Explain of " OR " Gate with diode :-

** Let D1 and D2 two diodes logical value 0 represent or 1 represent 5v.

** When A=0 , B= 0 Both diodes are reverse biase so out put A+B=0.

** When A=1, B=0 or A= 0, B=1, Diode is forward bias out put  A+B=1.

** When A=1, B=1 Both are forward bias out put A+B=1.

*** What is NOT Gate ? Gives its truth table?

NOT Gate :- The Gate which one input and one out put terminal is called NOT Gate.

*** What is NAND GATE its truth table?

NAND GATE:- The inverse of AND GATE is called NAND GATE.

* NAND = AND + NOT

*** What is NOR GATE Give its truth table ?

NOR GATE :- The inverse of OR GATE is called NOR GATE.

Ans :- NAND and NOR gates are called Universal Gates. Because these are Basic Building Blocks to construct any electronic circuit.
